OSBC had another great skim camp with kids from not only Qualicum and Parksville, but also Nanaimo, Duncan, Victoria, Vancouver and even from Ontario.  The weather co-operated and we had three days of full on skimboarding fun on the beach.  The last day of camp gives us the opportunity to watch the kids in free skim before the end of camp skim competition; divided into beginners, intermediates and advanced divisions to show off their new found skills, it was excellent to watch their improvement, growth in confidence, and there was some great action at all levels.  Prizegiving rounds off the end of camp and with that the 2013 Summer Camp was over.
